The business operates at scale, with Canadian revenues exceeding $500M, and continues to grow through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions with their Canadian head office located in Mississauga

Your New Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor within the Canadian finance team, supporting planning, forecasting, and overall business performance management. This role was created as the result of an internal promotion, reflecting the organization’s emphasis on internal development and career progression. It is well suited to a finance professional who is looking to drive impact, influence decision‑making, and add value within a fast‑growing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
  • Preparing executive‑level presentations and performance insights
  • Conducting deep analysis across all lines of the P&L to identify key business drivers, including volume, mix, and rate
  • Driving improvements in forecasting and business performance management through automation and analytics
  • Acting as an Oracle EPM Subject Matter Expert to support finance and the wider business
  • Partnering with Data Analytics teams to leverage advanced analytics and AI initiatives
  • Performing variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior year
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and sensitivity analysis
  • Delivering ad hoc analysis with clear recommendations for next steps

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
  • 3–5 years of experience within the CPG industry
  • Strong systems experience, including advanced Excel skills and hands‑on experience with Power BI
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
