Your new role

The current need is for a Senior Estimator — ICI. This individual will be a leader in doing estimates and supporting the pre-construction for projects with the construction team. They will prepare estimates, do site surveys and make recommendations to clients and design members, as well as build relationships with the designers, architectural firms, consultants and sub-trades. They will play a key role in securing new work by representing our client in a professional manner consistent with company values. They will be a leader in the office for younger estimators and be influential in the pre-construction process for base build or interior projects.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful incumbent for this Senior Estimator role will have at least 8 years' experience in base/design build estimation or commercial interiors within the ICI construction industry. This includes major and complex projects. The candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, financial reporting and the ability to communicate, both written and oral leadership skills. Finally, the Senior Estimator will have PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications.
