A top-tier tech company is looking to onboard a Business Data Analyst for one of its key banking partners.

Your new role

We are seeking a Senior Business / Data Analyst with deep expertise in
Capital Management Technology to join our Treasury Technology team. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong blend of analytical and technical skills to design, implement, and continuously enhance capital management solutions. The ideal candidate will translate complex business rules into scalable technology solutions, manage critical data processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Translate capital management business rules and data into detailed technology requirements, mappings, and controls, including requirement traceability matrices.
Author user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence.
Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogs, and control documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and audit readiness.
Prepare test cases and plans; lead triage and QA activities to validate data and system integrity.
Conduct data discovery and profiling for critical capital data sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.
Perform hands-on work with data platforms, integration processes, and testing methodologies.
Create data and process flows using Visio, Confluence, and similar tools.
Utilize SQL for analysis across large datasets and demonstrate understanding of big-data concepts.
Maintain a strong foundational understanding of financial products and their impact on capital management.

What you'll need to succeed

3+ years of experience translating business rules into technology requirements and maintaining traceability.
Strong experience with SQL and data analysis across large datasets.
3+ years of hands-on expertise in data integration, testing methodologies, and process documentation.
Proficiency in creating data/process flows and maintaining governance artifacts.
Solid understanding of financial products and capital management principles.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
