Our client, a large CPG company located in Mississauga are looking to hire a
Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

As a Senior Accountant reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the financial reporting cycle of a well-established organization. You’ll lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS, and manage key accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, lease capitalization, and cash tracking. You’ll also contribute to internal controls (SOX), support audits, and drive process improvements.

To succeed in this role, you should be CPA designated, with four years of experience—ideally in public accounting or a product-based environment. You’ll need a strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS, along with proficiency in SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel skills. Success in this position requires sharp analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while working collaboratively across teams.
