Hiring a Sr Security Engineer

Your New Role
As an Information Security Engineer, you will report to the Senior IT Manager – Business Engagement and play a key role in protecting the organization’s digital infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies, monitoring threats, conducting risk assessments, and promoting cybersecurity awareness across the enterprise. This role requires hands-on experience with security tools and a proactive approach to threat detection and incident response.


What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of secure network, system, and application architecture.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux systems, and security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including PCI, PII, CASL.
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP) are an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.
  • Flexibility to provide off-hours support and participate in shift rotations.
