Salesforce Consultant in Ottawa, ON

Role: Salesforce Consultant
Location: Ottawa, ON
Type: Contract

Role description:

The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Review existing work processes and organizational structure
  2. Analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows
  3. Identify candidate processes for re-design; prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information and suggest a recommended course of action. Identify the modifications to the automated processes
  4. Provide expert advice in defining new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions; identify and provide preliminary costs of potential options
  5. Provide expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models between processes to eliminate information and process redundancies
  6. Identify and recommend new processes and organizational structures
  7. Provide expert advice on and/or assist in implementing new processes and organizational changes
  8. Document workflows
  9. Use business, workflow and organizational modeling software tools

Mandatory Skills:
  1. Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance – Secret
  2. Must have 8 to 10 years of experience in managing the Salesforce Platform – including environment provisioning and operational administration and following:
  3. Building and/or documenting reusable platform-specific elements used in recruiting modernization
  4. Understanding and providing guidance for how to manage and optimize the use of Salesforce licenses across multiple portals
  5. Supporting governance and alignment into current departmental processes (e.g.: application portfolio management, business continuity management)
  6. Providing advice, guidance, and managing a foundational training curriculum for the solution
  7. Establishing communities of practice that will create standards, share best practices and reusable components.
