3 days minimum onsite downtown Toronto (could be 5 days in office during initial training and initial months)

Our client is a leading global player in the chemical industry and has an opening for a Sales Rep / Business Development Specialist based out of their downtown Toronto office. This role is responsible for inside sales coordination, ensuring orders are processed, and making cold calls to generate new business. Experience in both inside sales coordination and outside sales is critical for success. Industry experience in chemicals is preferred.


The Sales Rep / Business Development Specialist will manage inside sales and order fulfillment while growing key product lines. The role involves building strong relationships with clients across Canada, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with offshore offices to align on strategic initiatives. The position also supports senior leadership with business analytics, data reporting, and preparation of materials. It is a hand‑on role that blends outside sales with supply chain management and market development.


Candidates should have one to two years of experience in cold calling, inside sales, and outside sales business development in a B2B environment. A strong focus on order communication with vendors, ensuring correct lead times, freight logistics, and on‑time delivery is essential. A solid understanding of supply chain functions, including purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and market analysis, is highly valuable. Strong communication skills, the ability to build lasting client relationships, and a willingness to travel and engage directly with customers across Canada and occasionally to the United States are required.
