Registered Nurse (Safety Coordinator)

Your new role

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator (Registered Nurse) to support health and safety initiatives across the organization. This role will contribute to the development, implementation, and oversight of workplace health standards and practices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational expectations and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Support the administration and refinement of internal health-related protocols and standards
Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent application of health and safety practices
Provide guidance on general health matters affecting workforce readiness and compliance
Assist in coordinating assessments and evaluations related to employee health and workplace standards
Maintain relationships with external service providers to ensure quality and consistency of services
Contribute to reporting and analysis of health-related metrics and performance indicators
Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational health strategies

What you'll need to succeed

  • Registered Nurse in Canada
    Experience with drug and alcohol testing

    4–6 years of experience in occupational health or a related discipline, preferably in an industrial or corporate setting (asset)

    Strong communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presentations
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and collaborative platforms
    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

What you'll get in return

You will be working with a leading organization in their field. This is a 1+ year contract paying $43.00 per hour. This role offers full-time hours with flexibility to work partially remote.
