Length: 3+ month contract

Your new role
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide Tier 2 technical support for regional staff, ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems, network infrastructure, and collaboration tools. You’ll deliver IT onboarding and training, support meetings and events, and act as a liaison between regional teams and central IT. Your role will be essential in maintaining compliance, supporting business continuity, and contributing to IT transformation initiatives.
Regional IT Support
- Provide on-site Tier 2 support for desktop productivity tools, printing infrastructure, and network equipment.
- Coordinate with central IT teams to resolve technical issues and escalate tickets as needed.
- Administer Active Directory accounts and support VPN, intranet, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Image and patch desktops and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5–7 years of recent or relevant experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Experience working in multi-site or remote environments, including travel to community locations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in desktop support, printing, and network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, VPNs, and IT ticketing systems.
- Experience delivering IT training and onboarding.
- Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and documentation practices.
- Ability to support technical logistics for meetings and events.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Experience liaising with vendors and contributing to IT-related business planning.
