You will be joining an established Real Estate and Property Management company based in North York, Ontario. They manage a wide range of property types including commercial, industrial, and raw land. They are known for their high-quality service and community-focused approach.

Your new role

This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial properties with a focus on controlling costs, generating revenue, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities include rent collection, arrears management, marketing and leasing retail units, handling lease renewals, and overseeing maintenance and contractor work. The role also covers lease administration, tenant relations, and ensuring properties are well-maintained and compliant. Additional duties include preparing management reports, financial analysis, supervising staff, responding to emergencies, collaborating with brokers, and managing lease documentation, chargebacks, and adjustments in Yardi. Support with accounts receivable, budgeting, year-end recoveries, and daily property administration is also required.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in property management, including at least three years in commercial real estate. They should have strong skills in lease negotiation, contract management, and team leadership, with a positive and solution-focused approach. The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in financial, legal, and contractual matters, along with strong analytical skills for managing complex projects and evaluating performance. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Yardi software are assets, and exceptional communication skills with attention to detail are essential.

$100,000 - $110,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits.
