JOB DESCRIPTION
The RAR Functional Consultant will lead the functional delivery of SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting, translating the Blueprint into a working solution and ensuring alignment to Toyota Canada’s revenue processes and IFRS 15 requirements.
Detailed Design & Configuration
  • Refine “TO-BE” process flows into configuration specifications for SAP RAR.
  • Configure revenue recognition rules, settlement objects, revenue item categories and settlement profiles in S/4HANA.
  • Translate approved WRICEF specifications into configurable settings and drive configuration workshops.

Integration & Validation
  • Implement and validate integration touchpoints with SAP SD, FI/CO and external systems, based on the Phase 0 interface catalog.
  • Collaborate with BTP Integration and ABAP teams to ensure data flows meet design requirements.
  • Lead system integration testing (SIT) and support UAT for all RAR scenarios.

Compliance & Best Practices
  • Provide ongoing IFRS 15 (and ASC 606) expertise to confirm configuration and custom logic adhere to revenue recognition standards.
  • Recommend SAP best practices for revenue accounting processes and rule maintenance in BRF+.

Business Engagement & Knowledge Transfer
  • Facilitate detailed process workshops with Finance and IT stakeholders to validate configuration outcomes and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop functional documentation, process guides and training materials for end users and support teams.
  • Support hypercare post-go-live, resolving process-related issues and transferring operational knowledge to TCI’s support organization.

Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives to refine functional delivery and backlog priorities.
  • Capture lessons learned and propose process optimizations for future enhancement phases.
