Our leading Tech client is seeking a highly skilled SAP Test Lead to oversee testing activities for a major SAP S/4HANA implementation within a Canadian public sector client. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep SAP expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for quality assurance in complex environments.

Your new role

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans across SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.).
• Manage and mentor the testing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, scope, and quality standards.
• Identify risks and issues early, providing timely updates and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve team performance and testing outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

1. SAP Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP systems and modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.) and their functionalities.
2. Testing Methodologies: Proficiency in traditional (black box, white box, grey box) and modern testing approaches (Agile, DevOps, continuous testing).
3. Test Strategy & Planning: Ability to develop robust test strategies, plans, and test case designs; familiarity with test coverage, automation frameworks, and test data management.
4. Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience in leading and motivating testing teams in large-scale projects.
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders and report on progress.
6. Public Sector Experience
   (Preferred): Comfort working in large, complex public sector environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations is highly desirable.
