Our client is a leading microelectronics manufacturing and engineering firm founded in 1987 specializing in the miniaturization, design and manufacture of custom microelectronic circuits. TASK offers unique electronic packaging design services for the medical, military, avionics, sensor and high-end industrial markets.

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team for a permanent full-time position as Quality Control Inspector in the evening. This position will commence with up to 3 (three) months of training during the day, then transition to become a permanent position in the evening. The functions are as follow:
  • Perform first article inspection
  • Perform final QC inspection
  • Accurately record and track quality data
  • Detect quality defects and correct the process to prevent further recurrence
  • Maintain quality standards in all aspects of work
  • Visual note any required part marking for legality and adherence to applicable marking specs.
  • Work with department lead & production control to meet production schedule & resolve problems to hit production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

What you'll need to succeed

  • Educational level: DEC or High School
  • Experience related to the job offer: 2 – 5 years
  • Description of qualifications: This individual has the following qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and MIL Std 883
  2. Strong background in micro-electronics with extensive experience in quality with SMT & wire bonded component experience.
    1. Visual inspection for any nicks, ding, scratches, or other damage that violates blueprint requirements of
      workmanship standards.
    2. Follow all applicable procedures and work instructions
    3. Communication & problem-solving skills
