Property Manager

Your New Company
A dynamic and growing property management firm with a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties across the GTA. Known for its entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on approach, the company is expanding and seeking a dedicated Property Manager to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a lean, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the success of the business.

Your New Role
As the Property Manager, you will oversee a portfolio that includes both smaller multi-residential buildings and larger commercial properties. This is a full-scope, client-facing role that requires operational excellence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage both day-to-day tasks and strategic growth initiatives. You will be responsible for:

  • Operational Management: Handling maintenance, inspections, vendor relationships, and compliance across the portfolio.
  • Client & Owner Relations: Acting as the primary contact for landlords, providing regular updates and professional representation.
  • Business Development Support: Assisting with proposals and onboarding new properties.
  • Tenant Relations & Leasing: Managing lease renewals, addressing tenant concerns, and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, rent collection, arrears, and financial reporting.
  • Technology & Systems: Utilizing Yardi Breeze and other digital tools to streamline operations.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, with both residential and commercial portfolios.
  • Proven ability to manage properties without on-site staff and to supervise on-site teams as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act, AGI processes, and commercial lease terms.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Breeze and comfort with digital tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset.
  • A strong network of vendors and trades across the GTA.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
What You'll Get in Return
  • The opportunity to work in a growing, entrepreneurial company where your work makes a direct impact.
  • A varied and dynamic portfolio that will continue to expand.
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Competitive compensation and the potential for growth as the company scales.
