This Montréal-based multifamily real estate firm specializes in asset management and acquisitions, currently overseeing a portfolio of approximately 130 units. The team is small, fast-moving, and highly process-driven, having invested heavily in documented SOPs and a centralized knowledge hub to govern day-to-day operations. This is a ground-floor opportunity within an organization that values long-term growth and structured excellence.

Your new role


Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage the daily operations of a 130-unit portfolio in Montréal. This is a full in-office role focused on high-level execution and operational discipline.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Tenant & Maintenance Coordination: Serving as the primary point of contact for tenants, contractors, and suppliers regarding maintenance and leasing.


  • Compliance & Leasing: Executing lease renewals, move-ins/outs, and ensuring all processes align with TAL compliance.


  • Operational Reporting: Conducting weekly property inspections and producing clear, structured reports for leadership on portfolio status and outstanding issues.


  • Systems Management: Maintaining accurate records using internal tools such as Airtable, Asana, and Building Stack.


  • Process Improvement: Following and contributing to the continuous improvement of documented SOPs.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate is a systems-driven professional with 2–4 years of experience in property management, preferably within a scaling portfolio.

Requirements and traits include:

  • Proficiency in French and English is required


  • Comfort working within frameworks and documented SOPs, viewing them as tools for performance rather than constraints.


  • A proactive approach to record-keeping, scheduling, and document filing.


  • The ability to deliver concise, decision-ready updates and knowing exactly when to escalate issues to senior leadership.

  • A professional who takes direction well, asks clarifying questions, and respects the established chain of command
