Property Administrator — Scarborough

Your new company

A major real estate investment trust in Canada focuses on developing and managing urban properties in densely populated areas. It oversees a large portfolio of commercial sites, many of which are anchored by essential services. The organization is actively involved in transforming city spaces through mixed-use projects that blend residential, retail, and office components, aiming to improve community living and deliver lasting value to stakeholders.

Your new role

You will provide vital administrative support to the property management team by performing a variety of tasks. You will review monthly rent-rolls and pre-authorized debit reports, manage accounts receivable including deposits, form completion, and commentary input, and process purchase orders and invoices. You will handle tenant chargebacks, oversee utility payments, and assist with data collection for reporting purposes. Your responsibilities will also include preparing tenant statements, issuing notices and refunds, supporting budget preparation, tracking insurance and sales reports, and coordinating move-in/move-out documentation. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate tenant information and smooth daily operations, while also contributing to special projects as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have one to three years of administrative experience, preferably in the property management sector—whether residential, commercial, or retail. A solid grasp of basic accounting principles is essential, along with post-secondary education in business, accounting, or a related field, which will be considered an asset.

What you'll get in return

$55,000 - $58,000 + 5% Bonus + Benefits, including RRSP.
