Your new role

• Accounts Payable
  • Process supplier invoices and classify them to the correct GL accounts and projects
  • Reconcile credit card statements and ensure accurate codification
  • Prepare payments via EFT, wire transfer, and cheques
  • Maintain organized electronic records of invoices and supporting documents
  • Monitor the payables inbox for timely invoice handling

• Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare monthly rent rolls and deposit slips
  • Record cash receipts and follow up on outstanding rents

• General Ledger
  • Perform bank and GL account reconciliations
  • Assist with year-end file preparation and ad hoc financial analyses

• Communication
  • Interact with tenants, vendors, and internal teams—requiring fluency in English and French

What you'll need to succeed

• 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Working experience in Yardi Voyager or Yardi Breeze
• Strong Excel and general computer skills
• Bachelor’s in Business or Accounting is an asset
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Fluency in English and French (mandatory)
• Experience in real estate or property management is a strong plus
