Our client, an architecture powerhouse, and a large multi-discipline firm is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team in Calgary working in their growing Justice studio. With decades of experience in the industry & multiple award recognitions for sustainability, design, planning & development this is a special opportunity to make an impact on the built environment.

Your new role

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, from defining deliverables and establishing schedules to managing budgets and ensuring each phase remains on track. You will develop and maintain detailed work plans for architectural and engineering teams, allocate resources, and monitor progress to keep projects advancing smoothly. Leading multidisciplinary teams, you will uphold rigorous quality standards for construction documents and technical specifications. You will remain attentive to the project’s scope, proactively negotiating solutions when changes arise to ensure alignment with client objectives and contractual requirements. Collaboration with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities will be essential as you address construction challenges and document key decisions. As the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, you will foster strong relationships and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll need to succeed

You possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited architecture or technical program, along with more than ten years of project management experience, ideally within justice, civic, or public sector environments. Your background includes a strong grasp of project accounting, strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management. You are well-versed in local building codes and municipal bylaws, and highly proficient in leading project delivery and collaboration using industry-standard project management platforms such as Procore and Newforma.

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will receive a compensation package of $90K-110K (dependent on experience) + bonus or OT and RRSP.
