High Profile Multifamily Development - 6-storey - Reputable Developer Builder / GC

Your new company

Our client is an established Developer Builder who also acts as a General Contractor. The company has been building innovative, large-scale communities for the past 25 years. They take a unique, design-focused approach to the communities they develop and strive to create meaningful and inspiring places for people to live/work. These communities consist of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties.

Your new role

As Project Manager, you will work with a high-performing team tasked with executing the construction of a 300-unit wood frame apartment building. The role will be working closely with an experienced Senior Project Manager and Superintendent. You will help develop and maintain relationships, manage project budget and forecasting, oversee change management, enforce contractual responsibilities and ensure the project close-out is efficient.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful incumbent must be a professional, confident communicator and someone that wants to be involved with construction of a challenging and high-profile project. The ideal candidate is a team player with relevant technical education (Engineering, Construction, etc) and 3+ years of experience as Project Manager. Candidates from either a Developer/Builder or General Contractor background will be considered. Ideally, this candidate will have exposure to working on either wood frame or concrete multifamily but major commercial/institutional will also be considered.
