Your new role

The Project Manager is in charge of Project Development: Conduct feasibility studies and alternative analysis to assess the viability of the project, including technical, financial, and operational aspects and complete early project development activities.
As well as Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution in line with the Operating Model (TOMS) and the Project Delivery Standard (PDS). Complete early stakeholder engagements to establish communication channels, set expectations, and ensure their input is incorporated into the project plan. Clearly define the project objectives, deliverables, and scope to ensure all stakeholders have a shared understanding of the project objective. Establish and understand the project’s Regulatory and Environmental objectives and document expected post-construction commitments. Develop project plans including, but not limited to: project execution, communication, risk management, change management, resources, procurement, safety management, construction management, etc.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred
• Technical diploma in a related field of study will also be considered
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset
• Three or more years of related experience In Pipeline Integrity projects
• Must be able to work and travel within Canada
• Must have proven project management skills and previous experience successfully executing projects
• Demonstrated strong planning and decision-making ability in a busy and dynamic work environment with the ability to manage, prioritize, and effectively deal with multiple and competing priorities
• Sound interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation and leadership
• Customer focused and proven ability to align project objectives with regulatory and commercial drivers
• Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality
• Strong team orientation, demonstrating a high level of cooperation and sharing of ideas
• Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
