Your new role
This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong underground
mining and project management experience who can work effectively in a
fast-paced operational environment while maintaining a strong commitment
to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Support underground technical services improvement and expansion
projectsAssist with underground capital projects alongside Site Projects
Build and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans
Coordinate with Ops, Maintenance, Geology, Ventilation, Ground
Control, and Survey. Conduct underground inspectionsTrack progress and report on schedule, cost, risk, and deliverables.
Support infrastructure upgrades, mine optimization, and design reviewsIdentify efficiency and cost improvement opportunities
Maintain technical documents, standards, and ad hoc projects
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer
Previous project management or project engineering experience in a
mining environment is required.Strong understanding of underground mining methods, mine
development, and underground infrastructure. (5 Years)Experience supporting underground capital or sustaining projects
considered an asset.Proficiency with Deswik, AutoCAD, or other mine planning and project
management software considered an asset.Physically capable of performing underground fieldwork, including
walking steep grades and lifting up to 50 lbs.Valid Class G driver’s license required.

Base salary range from $95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
