Your new role

They are seeking a Project Architect to lead the production of technical documentation and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will be experienced in design-build or Construction Management projects and comfortable engaging with both private and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams through all phases of design and construction.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation using Revit.
  • Supervise staff and act as Architect of Record.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure projects meet BCBC and VBBL requirements.
  • Contribute to design and problem-solving initiatives.
Preferred Experience:
  • Exposure to LEED, Passivhaus, or Zero-Carbon building projects.
  • Experience in design-build or construction management projects.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-secondary degree in Architecture; registered or eligible for registration with the AIBC.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit.
  • Familiarity with BCBC and VBBL codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
