Your new role
An established, multidisciplinary design practice with a long-standing presence across Western Canada is seeking an Architect with relevant post-secondary education experience to join a growing studio. Post-secondary work is a core and expanding area of practice, encompassing applied learning facilities, student housing, academic buildings, renovations, and long-range campus planning delivered through collaborative, long-term institutional partnerships.
This role is ideal for an architect who has experience delivering institutional projects, understands the complexity of post-secondary environments, and is motivated to take on increasing leadership responsibility over time.
You will play a key role in shaping thoughtful, well-executed architectural solutions while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of the post-secondary sector within the studio.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Architecture and eligibility to practice in Canada
- Registered Architect (AIBC)
- 5+ years of professional experience, including demonstrated post-secondary project exposure
- Strong understanding of post-secondary environments, governance structures, and delivery models
- Experience with post-secondary funding models and delivering architectural, planning, and interior design projects for institutional clients
- Ability and willingness to work across projects of small, medium, and large scale
- Strong design judgment supported by technical rigor and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Revit and standard architectural production tools
- A collaborative mindset aligned with a values-driven, team-oriented studio culture
