Your new role

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide critical administrative and legal support to lawyers managing a wide range of tort personal injury cases. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms
  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating court appearances
  • Organizing and maintaining client files, both physical and electronic
  • Communicating with clients, medical professionals, and court staff
  • Assisting with trial preparation and document organization
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion

You’ll be an integral part of a compassionate and high-performing team, helping ensure smooth file progression and exceptional client service.


What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in personal injury or litigation law
  • Solid understanding of Ontario’s Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Primafact, PC Law, MS Office)
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
