Operations Supervisor Opportunity for a Commercial & Retail Property Downtown Vancouver!

Your new role

You will be joining the Operations team for a landmark commercial & retail property in Downtown Vancouver. As the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the day‑to‑day performance and coordination of the Building Operations team, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards. Working closely with the Operations Management team, you will act as a central point of communication between site personnel and senior leadership. Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the daily work of the building operations team to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and in line with operational policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Management team in the preparation and execution of the annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by assigning work orders to the building operations team and ensure all work is completed.
  • Coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors.
  • Compile data and prepare accurate reports to provide to the Operations team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years of Supervisory experience overseeing maintenance & operations teams.
  • Experience overseeing unionized teams is an asset.
  • Experience in building operations on commercial or retail properties.
  • 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
  • Experience using CMMS systems.
