Office Manager
Your new company
Our client is a proudly family-run business known for its tight-knit, collaborative culture and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a proactive and resourceful Office Manager to ensure the seamless operation of their workplace. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, supporting cross-functional teams, and maintaining organized office systems. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a hands-on approach to office coordination, and proven experience supporting both staff and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Joining this team means becoming part of a supportive environment where your contributions truly matter.
Your new role
As Office Manager, you'll play a central role in keeping operations running smoothly. From organizing documents and managing schedules to supporting onboarding and maintaining payroll records, your day will be filled with diverse tasks that keep the office efficient and well-structured. You'll also help implement internal procedures, coordinate supplies, and assist with reporting and communications. Welcoming clients, supporting leadership, and handling calls, mail, and invoices are all part of your dynamic routine.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in administrative or office management, along with hands-on experience in basic HR functions such as recruitment, performance reviews, and terminations. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats. Attention to detail is key, especially when managing documentation and internal processes. Familiarity with standard office software applications and phone systems is expected, and proficiency in Microsoft Office will be instrumental to success in this role. The candidate also needs to be available to work on-site in North York.
