Your new role

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. You will work closely with the IT team to support and enhance the network environment, troubleshoot issues, and implement new technologies.
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Configure and manage network devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform regular network performance monitoring and tuning.
  • Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement network upgrades and expansions.
  • Ensure network compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Provide support for network-related issues and escalations.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Assist with the deployment and management of network-related projects.
  • Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3-5 years of experience in network administration or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Proficiency in network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in network administration (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is a plus.
