Mid-Rise Project Coordinator needed in Ottawa, 3-year $100M+ Mid-Rise project!

Your new company

Hays Construction & Development is partnered with our mid-sized ICI GC, which is well known and respected throughout Ottawa and the National Capital Region. They have a large team and are adding people for specific project which will take about 3 years to complete.


Your new role

As Project Coordinator on this high-profile mid-rise development, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of a $100M+ mid-rise multi-family construction project.

Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you’ll help ensure the project stays on track, on budget, and aligned with quality and safety standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating project documentation, tracking schedules and budgets, and facilitating communication between architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. You’ll assist in preparing reports, organizing meetings, and maintaining accurate records to support project milestones and compliance.

You’ll be based on-site, conducting regular walkthroughs, identifying and escalating issues, and helping ensure smooth daily operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be critical in keeping the project moving forward efficiently.


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this important role, you should have:
Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or similar support role on large-scale construction projects. A diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in construction coordination, ideally with mid-rise or commercial projects. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam). A proactive mindset and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
