Mechanical Product Rep - Inside Sales Rep – Manufacturing of Machine Parts

Salary: 70-85K base; benefits, flex on salary based on years of experience in technical sales

Our client is a leading manufacturer of mechanical parts for machinery and equipment and has a job open for Industrial Machine Parts / Mechanical Product Rep to be based out of their office in Mississauga - Brampton, ON area. This is a sales-driven, direct-to-customer role mostly responsible for making business development phone calls to new and existing customers, responding to customer technical queries on product, size dimensions, quality of steel, thickness and similar. This requires 5 days a week from the office.

Mechanical Product Rep / Inside Sales Rep will have a minimum of 3–4 years of inside sales / order 2 cash experience from the sale of machine parts / industrial supplies/ hinges/ accessories / HVAC / plumbing and other similar mechanical products involving dimensional requirements, metal thickness, logistics delivery requirements to improve customer service and the sales. Excellent communication skills on the phone is a MUST. Ability to read drawings, experience in preparing formal quotations and estimates helps and is NOT a must. Mechanical Diploma is preferred or experience in selling dimensional products in HVAC plumbing, mechanical supplies, boilers, pressure vessels, industrial supplies, fixtures and fittings, metal racking and similar is HIGHLY preferred. Excellent English communication skills is A MUST, customer service experience and sales-driven personality, acumen, and revenue-generation passion is a MUST.

Qualified candidates already in Mississauga – Brampton area able to work 5 days on site (no exceptions) with a mechanical aptitude to be in a competitive sales/ direct to customer (machine manufacturers) is ideal. Phone sales / call centre sales customer service experience in a technical product is a MUST.
