This role requires a strong presence on active construction sites and the ability to resolve issues effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and documentation.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical construction practices, including HVAC, plumbing, heating, cooling, and fire protection systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
  • One of the following:
    • A valid trade certification (Plumber, Pipefitter, HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician)
    • A Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma
    • A Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical construction administration, field inspection, or related mechanical site roles
  • Strong working knowledge of codes and standards for commercial and multi‑family buildings in Alberta
  • Experience reviewing submittals, preparing site reports, and performing deficiency tracking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Bluebeam Revu; experience with platforms such as Fieldwire, Procore, Newforma, Autodesk Build, or Part 3
  • Previous design experience with Revit or AutoCAD is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence working in active construction environments

What you'll get in return

You’ll be part of a team that values technical expertise, clear communication, and high‑quality execution. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful building projects, work closely with industry professionals, and play a key role in delivering well‑designed, code‑compliant mechanical systems. The role offers stability, professional respect, and the chance to deepen your experience across a variety of complex project types.
