Your New Role
As
Manager, Property Accounting & Financing, you will report directly to the CFO and lead a team of 8 in overseeing all aspects of property and land development accounting, treasury operations, financing activities, and new construction projects. This is a key leadership role with succession potential to the CFO position.
You will be responsible for:
  • Full-cycle property accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Cash management, rent collection, and banking relationships
  • Financing arrangements for revenue properties and corporate needs
  • Realty tax assessments, appeals, and reporting
  • Oversight of management services billing and accounting
  • Financial planning and reporting for new development projects
  • You’ll work closely with senior management and ownership, ensuring financial integrity and strategic support across the organization.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • University or post-secondary degree; CPA designation is an asset
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in an owner-managed real estate environment
  • Strong supervisory skills and a professional, confident demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager (preferred) and strong Excel/Word skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead, support, and mentor staff
  • A stable and steady presence with a long-term outlook
