As part of its continued growth and focus on operational excellence, the company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to support its store infrastructure and ensure optimal facility performance.

Your New Role
As the Maintenance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities across retail locations. This includes supervising technicians and contractors, managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining store environments, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include supervising daily maintenance operations and teams, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, managing facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting), controlling budgets and inventory, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, coordinating with external vendors and contractors, maintaining accurate records and reporting, and identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements.

What You'll Need to Succeed
High school diploma (technical certification preferred), proven experience in maintenance supervision or facilities management, strong technical knowledge of building systems and general repairs, experience in large-scale construction projects (construction PM is an asset), excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, familiarity with OHSA and local safety codes, proficiency in SAP and maintenance management software, ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Canada, and availability for emergency repairs outside regular hours.
