Your new company
Our client is a highly respected boutique law firm located in downtown Toronto, specializing in commercial litigation and insolvency matters. Your new role
- Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
- Managing calendars, scheduling court appearances, and coordinating meetings.
- Handling electronic and physical filing, including court filings and document management.
- Communicating with clients, courts, and other stakeholders professionally.
- Assisting with billing, time entry, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth file management.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3–7+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in Commercial Litigation and/or Bankruptcy & Insolvency.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario court procedures and filing requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal practice management software.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
