Job: Licensed Red Seal Electrician – 442a / 309a - Industrial (MUST have) ($50.16/hr)

Our client is Well Distribution company (DC) and they have a job open for Licensed Red Seal Electrician 442a or 309a (Industrial - Manufacturing Production Diagnostics Repair PLC experience is a MUST). The job is based in the East Ottawa- Napean – Kanata, ON area. This is a straight night shift. A clear criminal record is required for employment; a clear driver’s abstract is required.

The licensed Industrial Electrician (442a / 309a with industrial experience) will troubleshoot and repair and maintain all existing plant equipment – conveyors, paper cutters, corrugators, packers and similar equipment. You will conduct root cause analysis of repeat failures, create a preventative and predictive maintenance plan, perform PMs and improve downtime. You will repair and test wiring for electrical systems on machinery, troubleshoot basic PLC—Programmable Logic Controls, resolve production line equipment issues. You will adhere to all safety rules and procedures. You will work on plant maintenance and on special projects.

Good communication skills in English are a MUST. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is a MUST-have. A clear criminal check is required. This is a fast-paced environment.
