Our client is a well-established distribution company (DC) and they have a job open for a Journeyman / Journeyperson licensed Red Seal Industrial Electrician. All candidates MUST have the Journeyman/Journeyperson license. The job is based in the Richmond, BC area. This is a day shift Saturday – Wednesday (Saturday Sunday 3.30am – 12noon ; Monday – Wednesday 7.30am -4pm) . A clear criminal record is required for employment; a clear driver’s abstract is required.

• The Journeyman / Journeyperson licensed Industrial Electrician will trouble shoot and repair maintain all existing plant equipment – conveyors, paper cutters, corrugators, packers and similar equipment. You will conduct root cause analysis of repeat failures , create preventative and predictive maintenance plan , perform PMs and improve down time. You will repair and test wiring for electrical systems on machinery, troubleshoot basic PLC-Programmable Logic Controls, and resolve production line equipment issues. You will adhere to all safety rules and procedures. You will work on plant maintenance and on special projects.

Good communication skills in English are a MUST. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is a MUST-have. A clear criminal check is required. This is a fast-paced environment.
