Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a real estate company based in Ontario. We are currently hiring a Leasing Specialist to join their team on a 3 month contract basis. This candidate will be required to travel between Woodstock and Lucan locations and work flexible hours including weekends.

Your new role

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails from prospective renters with professionalism and care.
• Use Yardi Rent Café (training provided) to manage rental information and resident communications.
• Show vacant units to potential renters and assist with the application process.
• Collect and verify proof of income and other required documentation.
• Communicate with residents to address questions, concerns, or service needs.
• Maintain a welcoming and organized office environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, many of whom are elderly, by offering a friendly and approachable demeanor.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2–3 years of customer service experience in any industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of reliability—punctuality and consistency are essential.
• Friendly, easygoing personality with a genuine desire to help others.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Property management experience is not required.
• Familiarity with Yardi and Excel is a plus but not required.
