As part of the continued growth of its restructuring and insolvency litigation team, the firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Law Clerk motivated by both complex file work and future leadership potential—including a defined path toward a Team Lead role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing litigation steps within complex restructuring and insolvency matters
- Preparing and organizing court materials, pleadings, affidavits of documents, and productions
- Supporting motions, applications, and hearings related to insolvency proceedings
- Coordinating with clients, monitors, trustees, and external stakeholders
- Assisting with research, trial prep, and detailed timelines
- Helping to mentor junior team members and improving internal processes, with the long-term aim of moving into a team lead capacity
- 5+ years of experience specifically in restructuring and insolvency litigation
- Proven ability to manage sophisticated, fast-paced litigation files independently
- Strong familiarity with insolvency court processes, filings, and timelines
- Excellent file management skills and comfort working with multiple lawyers simultaneously
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to client service
- An interest in leadership, mentorship, and developing into a future team lead
- Ability to meet a 1200-hour billable target
