Your new role
- Preparing and filing legal documents related to power of sale, foreclosure, and writs of possession
- Drafting affidavits, notices, and correspondence with debtors, lenders, and court officials
- Managing timelines and ensuring compliance with court procedures and statutory requirements
- Liaising with clients, process servers, and court staff
- Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems
- Supporting lawyers with litigation and enforcement strategy
What you'll need to succeed
- A Law Clerk diploma or equivalent legal training
- 3+ years of experience in mortgage enforcement or real estate litigation
- Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Rules of Civil Procedure and enforcement processes
- Excellent drafting and organizational skills
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, client-focused attitude and the ability to work independently
