Your New Role
As a Technical Support Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for internal users, providing fast, efficient, and personalized technical assistance. You will play a key role in incident resolution, software deployment, IT equipment management, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 technical support to executive-level clients on a rotating schedule.
- Monitor incident trends and alert management accordingly.
- Deploy software using automated deployment tools.
- Assist with software releases and deployments following ITIL best practices.
- Document and escalate incidents to the appropriate technician or vendor.
- Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities for troubleshooting.
- Perform hands-on hardware repairs and workstation setups.
- Adhere to SLAs and ensure accurate tracking through the ticketing system.
What You Need to Succeed
- DEC or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant technical areas (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) is an asset.
- Bilingual (French/English).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
