Your new role
As a Knowledge Management (KM) Lawyer specializing in Capital Markets, M&A, and Private Equity, you will support the Corporate/Commercial Practice Groups as a subject-matter expert by transforming complex legal content into practical resources. Your work will include developing precedents, toolkits, and client-facing materials, monitoring legal developments, and delivering engaging training programs. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping knowledge initiatives that enhance both internal capabilities and client service.


Working alongside a team of 8 Corporate Knowledge Management Lawyers, you will sit within the corporate practice group and engage most frequently with the practicing Lawyers within it. You will be directly involved in building out precedents and knowledge for the fastest growing practice group at the firm.


This role has a great deal of flexibility regarding work from home and working hours.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should bring:
  • A passion for corporate law and history of strong performance in a legal setting
  • At least five years of experience practicing corporate, securities, M&A, and private equity law at a national firm or in-house legal department
  • Membership with the Ontario Bar
  • Exceptional legal research and drafting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
  • A proactive and service-oriented mindset, with a passion for quality and innovation in legal knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, engaging lawyers across levels to drive KM adoption
  • Curiosity about the business of law and client industries, with a strategic approach to knowledge development
