Junior Project Manager – Residential Construction | Toronto, ON

Your new company

We’ve partnered with a fast‑growing residential construction company based in Toronto that specializes in hydronic in‑floor heating systems for custom homes and high‑end residential renovations. Operating across the Greater Toronto Area, the company is known for its technical expertise, strong project organization, and client‑focused delivery. With a high volume of active projects, they offer a dynamic environment for professionals looking to build a long‑term career in construction project management.

Your new role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the planning and execution of residential construction projects, gaining hands‑on exposure to all stages of project delivery. Working closely with senior project staff, field teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, you will help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
This role is well suited to someone early in their project management career who is organized, proactive, and motivated to learn. Responsibilities will include assisting with project scheduling, coordinating daily activities with internal teams and suppliers, tracking progress and documentation, supporting material ordering and deliveries, and contributing to client communications. You’ll follow established project management processes while also supporting continuous improvement of internal systems and workflows.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have 1–2 years of experience in residential construction, mechanical construction, or a related field. Exposure to project coordination or junior project management duties is considered an asset. While prior experience with hydronic in‑floor heating is beneficial, a strong willingness to learn is equally valued.
You’ll bring a solid understanding of basic construction processes, project scheduling, and coordination, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is expected, with Buildertrend experience considered an advantage.

What you'll get in return

In return, you’ll receive a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, along with performance‑based bonus incentives. The company offers health and dental benefits, paid time off, and a clear pathway for long‑term career development within a growing organization. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management while gaining specialized experience in high‑end residential construction.
