IT technician

Your New Role
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining the computer network and its services, ensuring business continuity and operational stability across all infrastructure and applications. You’ll play a key role in supporting internal and external users, managing hardware and software, and maintaining documentation and vendor relationships.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing technical support to internal and external users.
  • Participating in on-call support rotation outside regular working hours.
  • Installing, updating, and upgrading network hardware and software.
  • Managing IT systems (workstations, printers, phone systems, mobile devices, centralized antivirus, access cards, etc.).
  • Following change management procedures during system implementation or modification.
  • Handling IT equipment and license management, including maintenance contracts.
  • Writing and updating technical documentation.
  • Managing vendor relationships and IT procurement.


What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Server 2016, 2019, 2022 environments and tools (Active Directory, WSUS, GPO, DFS).
  • Solid understanding of networking (DHCP, DNS, VLAN).
  • Proficiency with Exchange 2016 and ticketing systems (SpiceWorks, ServiceDesk Plus).
  • Familiarity with VMware Horizon, ESX/ESXi, Office 2016, Office 365, Azure (assets).
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, Cisco CCENT/CCNA (assets).
  • Experience with Acronis, Kaspersky, EntraPass, Avaya IP Office, SonicWall VPN, and mobile device management systems (assets).
  • College diploma (DEC) in Network Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of technical support experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong customer service skills, organizational abilities, and stress management.
  • Availability outside regular working hours.
