IT Project Manager | 1-YEAR Contract

Role: IT Project Manager (Network experience is preferred)
Working organization: Hybrid
Contract: ASAP + 1-YEAR contract
Location: Etobicoke, ON


Your new company
You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative organization committed to advancing its IT infrastructure. The IT department is currently seeking an
IT Project Manager, to lead infrastructure-related projects, including network, data, voice, and security initiatives.


Your new role
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, management, and execution of medium-sized projects or small programs. Working closely with IT managers and internal teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Define project goals, scope, and deliverables aligned with business objectives
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects using appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Estimate and secure resources; coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate project expectations clearly and in a timely manner
  • Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  • Document lessons learned and develop best practices
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Manage scope changes and develop contingency plans
  • Mentor and guide project team members and contractors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor


What you'll need to succeed
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification (an asset)
  • Strong adaptability and responsiveness to project changes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills in high-pressure environments
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
  • Proficiency in platforms such as MS Azure and Office 365
  • Solid understanding of internet and networking technologies
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Experience leading infrastructure projects, especially in networking (an asset)
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings or site visits
