Your new role

As the Site Superintendent, you will be the key on-site leader responsible for the successful, timely, and safe completion of assigned projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position requires a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills to manage daily operations for complex builds and renovations within active institutional environments.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record as a Site Superintendent with significant experience managing ICI construction projects, particularly within the institutional sector (e.g., government tenant fit-ups, post-secondary education, K-12 schools).
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI projects, with experience managing projects in the $1M - $10M+ range being highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of all construction trades, building systems, and methods. Thorough understanding of the Ontario Building Code, WSIB, and Tarion (where applicable).
  • Leadership: Strong organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills necessary to effectively lead teams and manage demanding project timelines.
  • Certifications: Valid certifications in WHMIS, Working at Heights, and advanced First Aid. A relevant trade certification or post-secondary education in Construction Management is considered an asset.
