HVAC Technician

Your new company

A leading hospitality group in Vancouver is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their facilities team. This organization manages a portfolio of high-profile properties and is known for its commitment to excellence, safety, and sustainability. This well-established company has been a key player in British Columbia’s property landscape and has built a strong presence across the Lower Mainland, focusing on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Its portfolio includes a wide range of assets—from rental housing and condominiums to hotel properties—demonstrating a commitment to both community development and long-term investment. Known for its strategic growth and deep regional roots, the organization continues to shape urban living across BC through thoughtful design, high-quality construction, and providing top-tier service to residents.

Your new role

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and building equipment across multiple sites. You’ll also mentor junior maintenance staff and apprentices, ensuring consistent service standards and compliance with safety protocols. This is a hands-on role that allows you to work with advanced systems in both commercial and residential settings, contributing directly to guest comfort, energy efficiency, and infrastructure reliability.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in HVAC system maintenance and repair, ideally with a strong background in client-facing service environments. A Red Seal certification and a minimum of five years of hands-on experience are essential. You must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is key, as is a willingness to operate in challenging environments—including extreme temperatures such as freezers and boiler rooms. Physical capability is also important, as the role requires lifting up to 100 lbs and performing manual tasks on a regular basis.

What you'll get in return

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary package ($110K–$145K) along with full benefits, vacation days, and vehicle reimbursement. The company also offers corporate discounts and exceptional perks—including exclusive travel and dining discounts not commonly found elsewhere. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of HVAC systems across luxury and residential properties, with opportunities for professional development and leadership. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a well-established organization, offering a dynamic work environment and the chance to contribute meaningfully to sustainability and energy conservation initiatives.
