We are currently representing a client seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a 2‑month contract. This is a hybrid opportunity for hands‑on HR professional who can quickly step in, partner with leaders, and deliver immediate impact across core HR functions.


About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will provide strategic and operational HR support to leaders across multiple business areas. This role will oversee key people initiatives including learning and development, onboarding, and recruitment, while driving employee engagement and a positive employee experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted HR business partner to leaders, providing guidance on a broad range of HR matters
  • Support organizational effectiveness initiatives, including organizational design, processes, and tools
  • Lead learning and development initiatives such as onboarding, skills development, and leadership development
  • Oversee full‑cycle recruitment and selection activities
  • Lead HR‑related projects end‑to‑end, ensuring stakeholder alignment and execution
  • Analyze and interpret HR metrics and prepare reports to support data‑driven decision‑making related to retention, compensation, and succession planning


Key Requirements

  • 6–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience with a strong HR generalist background
  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic HR guidance to leaders
  • University degree in a related field
  • CHRP and/or CHRL designation considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
  • Broad HR expertise including employee relations, organizational design, recruitment, compensation, DEI, performance management, and health & safety
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to influence at senior levels
  • Strong project management, analytical, and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems

  • Compensation: $50-57 per hour
  • Hours: 8h30 – 5 pm
