Your new role

• Provides strategic and operational human resources consulting to senior leaders, management teams, and employees within assigned client groups. Areas of support include organizational development, workforce planning, recruitment and selection, collective agreement and policy interpretation, performance management, grievance resolution, attendance and disability management, onboarding and off‑boarding, training and development, employee health and wellness, safety initiatives, and respectful workplace investigations.
• Develops a deep understanding of each client group's business strategies, priorities, and operational objectives.
• Establishes and secures endorsement of service delivery agreements that reflect the unique needs of each client group, serving as the primary point of contact between clients and the broader Human Resources function.
• Partners with client leaders to identify HR needs aligned to both short- and long-term business strategies, and develops appropriate action plans and HR solutions.
• Provides strategic HR guidance, coaching, and expert interpretation of practices, policies, and collective agreements to executives and managers on a wide range of people-related issues.
• Designs and implements HR strategies and action plans that ensure alignment with organizational policies, collective agreements, and legislative requirements, while exercising sound judgment in situations that require flexibility beyond established guidelines.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related specialization.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience applying advanced HR expertise to complex organizational and people issues in both unionized and non‑unionized environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
