Healthcare/Lab Architect - Hybrid Opportunity - GTA - $90k-$125k

Your New Role
As a Project Architect, you’ll play a key role in leading healthcare and research facility projects from concept through construction. Reporting to the firm’s Principals, you’ll collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design and documentation. You’ll also contribute to the firm’s culture by engaging with colleagues and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment. This role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to manage complex projects and maintain lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education & Certifications:
  • Licensed Architect or Intern Architect (OAA)
  • Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • EDAC, PMP, and LEED accreditations are assets
  • Valid driver’s license
Experience:
  • 5–7 years of experience in healthcare architecture
  • Familiarity with complex building types, including labs and LEED-certified healthcare facilities
  • Experience with P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects
  • Exposure to Zero Carbon Building and WELL standards is a plus
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, and dRofus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp
  • Familiarity with Miro is an asset
  • Strong understanding of building codes, healthcare regulations, and capital planning submissions
  • Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with contract administration and construction review
