Your New Role
As an Architect with healthcare experience, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between senior leadership and junior staff. You’ll be joining a growing firm at a critical moment of expansion, contributing to the design and delivery of healthcare projects across Ontario. This is a strategic hire aimed at supporting long-term growth and enhancing project leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage healthcare architecture projects from concept through completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering their growth and development within the firm.
  • Act as a bridge between senior leadership and junior team members, ensuring smooth project execution and knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and help shape the future direction of the practice.
  • Participate in the design of institutional and commercial projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of architectural experience, ideally with a focus on healthcare or institutional projects.
  • Licensed with OAA or eligible.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare design principles, workflows, and client needs.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior architects in a collaborative studio environment.
  • Experience with BIM and sustainable design practices.
  • Ability to lead projects and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Background in hospitality or commercial architecture is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive team dynamic.
