Your new role
- Leading day-to-day operations of the global MDM team and aligning activities with enterprise data strategies.
- Managing and mentoring a team of 9 MDM Analysts across North America and Europe.
- Defining and implementing global MDM processes, tools, and a multi-year roadmap.
- Supporting ERP rollouts, M&A integrations, and system readiness initiatives.
- Driving automation and standardization across the MDM landscape.
- Ensuring data quality across key domains (Customer, Vendor, Product, Material, Finance).
- Leading data quality improvement initiatives and implementing KPIs to monitor compliance and performance.
- Serving as the global point of contact for master data governance and change requests.
What you'll need to succeed
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on data management, MDM, and metadata governance.
- Strong knowledge of MDM tools (preferably Informatica IDQ), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Business Central, and Dynamics 365.
- Proven leadership in managing global teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or building materials industries is an asset.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 15% and work onsite at the Mississauga office.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
